I'm trying to get my 2015 Mustang GT's MT-82 transmission sorted and honestly, I'm having a nightmare finding a workshop in Sharjah that really knows these gearboxes. The car's been grinding a bit going into third gear, especially when it's cold, and I've read online that these transmissions can have issues with the synchros, but I don't want to just throw parts at it without a proper diagnosis. A mate mentioned he had a good experience with a shop where Skilled Mustang Transmission Installation work is done, and he said they actually took the time to strip the gearbox down, inspect the synchros and bearings properly, and gave him a clear breakdown of what needed replacing before they started any work, rather than just quoting for a full rebuild straight away . I've heard there are places in Industrial Area 6 that handle muscle cars, but honestly, it's tough to know who's actually reliable and who's just going to take your money and not fix the problem properly . If anyone knows a place that's honest and knowledgeable, especially about Mustangs, I'd really appreciate the recommendation. I'm in the Industrial Area myself, so anywhere nearby would be a bonus. Thanks in advance for any help you can give, I'm just trying to avoid making a costly mistake .

I'm fortunate enough to have a Veyron that mostly sits in my collection, maybe driven once every few weeks when the weather is nice. The previous owner warned me that these cars are absolute nightmares with battery drain because of all the systems constantly monitoring things, and he said he went through two batteries in three years before he started keeping it on a Ctek tender full time. Problem is, my garage setup isn't near a plug, so I'm looking at either running a very long extension cord or just accepting that I'll need a new battery every year or so. Someone at a cars and coffee event mentioned the Reliable Bugatti Battery Installation Service with Battery Zone UAE and said they come to your location with the correct spec batteries that handle the heat better. Has anyone here actually used a mobile service for a hypercar? I'm always nervous about letting just anyone touch the car, but dragging it to the dealer for a simple battery feels like overkill too. What's the real world expectation for battery life on these when you can't keep it on a tender?

I've been taking my 2015 BMW 328i to the dealership for the past three years because I was afraid of voiding the warranty, but that's finally expired and I just can't justify the dealer labor rates anymore. I've found a well reviewed independent shop that only works on German cars and I'm booked in for a basic oil change and inspection next week. I'm a little nervous because I don't know what the etiquette is for independent shops versus dealers. Do they usually provide loaner cars? Should I bring my own oil if I want a specific brand? And how detailed is the inspection report compared to the multi point checklist the dealer gives you? I'm looking for a quality auto care service that won't try to upsell me on things I don't need but also won't miss something important. For those of you who made the switch from dealer to independent, what was your experience like? Anything I should ask or look out for on my first visit? Thanks in advance for any tips.

I’ll admit I’ve been bad about keeping up with maintenance on my old Patrol mostly because I kept putting it off and telling myself it’s fine for another few thousand kilometers. But last week the engine started sounding a bit rough at idle and fuel economy dropped noticeably so I finally booked it in at a place a coworker recommended near Mussafah. They did a full Abu Dhabi oil change along with checking the filter and honestly I wasn’t expecting much but the engine feels way smoother now and even the morning start-up rattle is gone. Makes me wonder how long it had actually been since the last proper one because the stuff they drained looked pretty dark. Anyone else had that moment where you realize you’ve been neglecting something simple and kicking yourself for it afterwards? Definitely not skipping the next interval.

I've got a 2016 Mustang GT and the AC has started acting weird. The passenger side blows ice cold, but the driver side is noticeably warmer, almost like outside air temperature. It's not completely hot, just not cold like it should be. I checked the refrigerant level and it seems fine. I'm guessing it might be a blend door actuator issue, which I've heard is common on these cars. But I'm not 100% sure and I don't want to start taking apart the dashboard myself because I know I'll break something. I've been looking for a shop that knows Mustangs well, specifically for air conditioning problems. A friend mentioned a place that does mustang air conditioning repair sharjah and apparently they see this issue a lot. Has anyone here had a similar problem with their Mustang where one side blows warm and the other cold? Was it the blend door actuator or something else like low refrigerant or a clogged expansion valve? I'm trying to figure out if this is a diy job or if I should just pay a specialist. The car is my daily driver and I'm melting in this heat, so I need to get it fixed soon. Any advice from Mustang owners who've dealt with AC issues would be awesome. Thanks.

Okay so I've been incredibly lucky with work the past couple of years and I'm finally in a position where I could afford a used Lamborghini Huracán, probably a 2016 or 2017 model. The problem is I'm not "rich rich" you know? I can buy the car but I don't have endless money for surprises like a blown transmission or a cracked carbon fiber bit that costs a fortune. I've been reading up on what to look for and it seems like the earlier cars can have issues with the exhaust valves getting stuck, the front lift system failing, and of course the regular supercar stuff like expensive brake rotors and clutch wear if the previous owner was rough on the launch control. I was trying to figure out exactly what a proper pre purchase inspection covers for these cars, so I decided to find out here what other owners in the UAE actually did before buying. I'm curious if a standard inspection even makes sense for something this specialized or if you really need someone who knows Lamborghinis inside and out. The car I'm looking at is from a dealer in Dubai who seems reputable but I've also heard stories about flood cars from Europe ending up here. What would you guys do? Roll the dice and trust the dealer or pay up for a thorough check first? I don't wanna be that guy who owns a Lambo for three months then has to sell it because he can't afford to fix it.

Hey Mustang family, hoping to get some wisdom from you all. I've got a 2019 GT that I've been daily driving around Dubai and occasionally taking out to places like Ras Al Khaimah on weekends. Lately though, the ride has become really harsh like I can feel every single crack in the pavement, and it's starting to get uncomfortable even on relatively smooth roads. I'm guessing the shocks are just worn out from all the heat and mileage, but I'm also wondering if maybe I should take this opportunity to upgrade to something better since I do enjoy pushing the car a bit when I find a good open road. I've been looking around for a shop that really understands these cars and came across one that focuses on Mustang performance shock repair UAE, which seems perfect because they'd know the difference between stock replacements and actual performance upgrades. Has anyone here done a shock upgrade on their S550? I'd love to hear what setups you're running and if it made a noticeable difference in both comfort and handling. Also, if you know any reliable workshops in Dubai that won't overcharge, please let me know. Really appreciate any insights!
